Osiris
Competition UAV integration
A heavy-lift quadcopter developed by Poly UAS for the 2026 Collegiate UAS Competition. I modeled structural components in Onshape and selected individual components against the aircraft’s system architecture and integration requirements.
Competition aircraft · 2025–2026
The Poly UAS team aircraft lifted the heaviest package and achieved the most accurate package placement. The result belongs to the Poly UAS team.

Structural modeling and component specification
Osiris was developed as a heavy-lift competition quadcopter. My work included structural modeling in Onshape and selecting individual components against aircraft architecture and integration requirements.
Structural geometry
Modeled structural components as part of the team aircraft, considering how the surrounding assemblies connect and remain accessible.
Component interfaces
Reviewed component placement and wiring as part of the aircraft packaging work, connecting physical geometry to subsystem requirements.
Design progression
The integration experience informed the protected avionics cavity and replaceable external interfaces developed for Munnin.

Aircraft-level performance
Osiris placed third overall. The package-lift and placement results reflect the work of the full Poly UAS team.
My structural modeling and component-specification work supported the team’s aircraft integration.
The May 2026 team design report supplies competition context. The assembly drawing shows the aircraft configuration, with the propulsion system above the landing structure and central payload interfaces.
